Necessity is the mother of invention. Our development team wanted a simple rugged pen without a cap, and minimal moving parts and distractions for use in the shop.

• There’s sufficient thread engaged with the barrel to maintain a solid connection, and there’s enough friction in the threads such that the tail cap won’t accidentally unscrew the rest of the way.
• Pen tip retracts into the head when not in use

Any other company would have gone to the office supply store and bought a box of "stick" type pens and be done with it. Not our crew. We spent weeks re-inventing and improving the lowly stick pen into a engineering masterpiece that we enjoy using. We know you will enjoy it too.

Finally a pen for the purist. There are no distractors on this pen. It's stiff straight shaft provides a comfortable grip for extended use. 

One of our team members, who is also a pilot discovered that the thin clipless design fits perfectly in the thin pen pockets on his military flight suit, and it's name was born. He shared a few samples with his friends and the word is out. The Titanium Flight Suit Pen is a big success among flight crews at our local air base.
